FHA Lifts Ban on Flipping Houses

FHA Lifts Ban on Flipping Houses

With inventories higher then desired the FHA Lifts Ban on Flipping Houses in 2012. How long they will keep this in play is unknown but for the foreseeable future investors are being encouraged by the FHA to purchase homes and if desired sell them prior to the 90 day hold previously required. With the FHA Lifting the Ban on Flipping Houses many more homes will be an opportunity to the investment community.

As a CDPE I pride myself on the knowledge and expertise to help investors make informed decisions on real property in coastal Georgia. If you are looking for a smart investment vehicle for 2012, real property may just be one of the best one available for not only the big investment groups but more so for the person looking to get involved in the market at a low cost. With prices where they are and interest rates at an all time low, buying a FHA/HUD home with FHA financing is an open opportunity for investors at all levels.

All my best,

About time! I work with investors and witness first hand how much money such folks pump back into the local economy.

Thanks Doug. Real estate is one of the first signs we see of market recovery. Many of my investors are new business owners who have come into our area for their primary business and become real estate investors.
